The Durable sole is pliable, super grippy, and ideal to prevent slipping on floors and light duty outdoors - plus they stay on your dog's paws!

These boots are best for protection from snow, ice, mud, sand burrs, thorns or cold. Ideal for slipping on tile or hardwood flooors. Protect floors, furniture and dogs themselves from scratching. However... Easy to put on - difficult to slip off! Split seam sides expand - making it easy to put on the boots. Two Velcro straps with slides fasten the boots in place. Generous foam at the closures create a secure grip and cushion the dog's paw when the boot is tightened. Durable boots are the BEST protection for senior dogs who are having trouble slipping on hardwood or tile floors.. Tough, water resistant nylon material with the top of the toe and sole wrapped in Toughtek®, a grippy, flexible, skid resistant and durable thermoplastic material, up to 0.8mm thick. Toughtek® performs in wet and dry, hot and cold conditions.

***Unfortunately, there isn't a perfect solution for dogs that drag their feet. The manufacturer has not yet found a material that will stand up to dragging and still be comfortable for the dog. We recommend the use of some type of shoe goo as wear appears. It is a rubber cement-like product that has shown good results when applied to the top and seam of the boot. You may also coat the top and toe of the boot prior to wearing with shoe goo to prolong the life of the boot for a dog that drags the paw. While this boot is extemely rugged/durable, these boots nor any other boot we sell are guaranteed against wear & tear for dogs that drag their feet.
